The Danieli Morgårdshammar (DMH) success in India continues with the recent new orders acquired and with the successful plants commissioning, reconfirming and consolidating its absolute leadership in the field of long products production, as demonstrated by the long supply list in the past years.
The summary of the most recent and forthcoming events, testifies this situation and includes:

New order for the upgrading of two rolling mills at Usha Martin Ltd, Jamshedpur.
The order for the modernization of the existing Wire Rod Mill and for the completion of the new Bar Mill was awarded at the end of 2006.
The Wire Rod Mill, which was already modified by DMH in some other previous step, will undergo another major upgrading aimed at increasing the finishing speed to up to 95 m/s and at enhancing the quality of the on-line heat-treated wire rod.
The supply will include the replacement of three pre-finishing roll stands with new roll units, the existing high-speed finishing block modification to enable the finishing speed increase, new water cooling line, new “oil-film-bearing” laying head plus extension and completion of the existing controlled-cooling conveyor.
A new multi-groove two-high P635 top-driven vertical stand, plus associated auxiliaries and services, will be supplied for completion of the Bar Mill.
Equipment delivery is planned for the end of 2007 and for February 2008 for the Bar Mill and for the WRM, respectively.
