Latest Wire Rod Lines in India
This summer 2010 Danieli Morgårdshammar Sweden has been awarded two new wire rod lines in India.
Tulsyan NEC from Chennai has selected a wire rod line with the new generation delta type 6-pass wire rod block for the production of plain rounds dia. 5.5mm up to 12mm and QTR products dia. 6mm up to 12mm.
The performance of the line will allow a production of approx. 50tph at a max speed of 80m/s for plain bars dia.5.5mm.
Start-up of the new line is scheduled at the beginning of year 2011.
Jayaswal Neco In. Ltd from Raipur has awarded Danieli Morgårdshammar with a complete new wire rod line for the production of SBQ steel grades with a range from dia. 5.0mm – 18.3mm plain rounds and QTR dia. 6mm – 16mm of QTR products.
The supply consists in the full supply of the technological equipment from the diverter from the existing rolling mill to the coil handling facilities of Sund Birsta, including the new generation delta type 10-pass wire rod block.
The line aims to produce 300 000tpy at max speed of 85m/s for plain rounds and 65m/s for rebar products.
Start-up of the new line is scheduled for autumn of year 2011.
With these latest two new references Danieli Morgårdshammar further confirms its leadership as a reliable partner for wire rod lines in the Indian market.
